How To Grow A Pizza Garden

Before we begin… what is your favorite pizza? Personally, I think I have a new favorite every couple of weeks. LOL. Anywho, since we have already looked at how to make homemade pizza sauce, how to make garlic ranch chicken pizza , how to make cast iron pizza recipe and even built this diy terra cotta pizza oven. In today’s post we will be exploring how to grow your own pizza garden.

What I love about pizza recipes, is that you can pretty much do whatever you like, especially when it comes to the toppings. Therefore, for your pizza garden it would be wise to include all your favorite toppings. The whole point is to grow all your toppings in one place, so that when its time to make pizza you just step into the garden and harvest all your fresh ingredients. Whenever possible, it is recommended that you plant seedlings and not seeds in your garden.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The ideal location should receive full sun and have well drained soil. The size of your bed will be determined by the spacing of the toppings that you want to grow in your garden. Make sure you work in some compost into the raised bed before you begin planting your seedlings. The circular garden bed is divided into slices and you’ll plant a different topping within each slice.
