How To Freeze Cooked Pasta

Do you feel like having pasta tonight, but you don’t have the time to be making some? It’s a problem, many of us have faced in the past, but I think I may have the perfect solution. In today’s post I will show you how to easily freeze pasta portions in your kitchen. Now you can save yourself some valuable time when making your chicken feta pasta recipe and your creamy tomato & spinach pasta recipe.

Don’t worry, you can still make your favorite pasta recipes even when using this frozen pasta. It is just a matter of starting the recipe midway, after skipping the actual pasta making section. This exact same method can be used to store any leftovers, instead of getting rid of them. I love that it’s stored in portions, therefore when its time to ‘cook’ you just take what you need.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Line your baking sheet with parchment paper, before laying out small portions of the pasta on top of it. You’ll need two freezing sessions, the first is a quick one for about 15 minutes. The second one is the long freeze after you have transferred the portions into Ziploc bags. Don’t forget to label and date your Ziploc bags. so far, I have been able to store mine for up to 3 months.
