It has been a while since we made some ‘pasta’ on this blog. If my memory serves me right, I believe the last time was with the spicy thai shrimp pasta recipe or was it the Mongolian beef ramen noodles recipe? Anywho, I decided to share my favorite spicy thai noodle recipe, with you today.
Since I love thai food, I have been slowly trying to build up my thai recipe database. This is one of the flagship recipes in that database, I have probably made this one more than the others. Not only is it delish, it is also super easy and usually takes less than 20 minutes to prepare. As for my dear hubby, who is a lover of all things spicy, he likes to add more ‘hot stuff’ in his bowl.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- spaghetti
- vegetable or canola oil
- sesame oil
- soy sauce
- rice vinegar
- Sriracha
- peanut butter
- honey
- garlic
- green onion
- red bell pepper
- carrot
- cilantro
- dry roasted peanuts
- crushed red pepper flakes
- sesame seeds
- large pot
- mixing bowl
- colander
- whisk
First things first, lets make the spaghetti in the large pot. While that is cooking you can be busy making the sauce in a separate mixing bowl. You want a smooth sauce, so make sure you whisk it real good. When the noodles are done, you can then add your sauce and the rest of the ingredients. After a good toss, your noodles will be ready to serve. I recommend you serve immediately, that way you do not have to reheat them again. Enjoy! 🙂
