How To Make A Scrunchie

For today’s diy project we won’t be needing any power tools. Yay! This year alone we I have shown you how to make a bed skirt and even diy fabric bowl covers, with your sewing machine. You are definitely going to need it again as we take a look at how to make a scrunchie.

As with most other beginner sewing projects, this one is not complicated at all. It will take about 15 minutes for you to make each scrunchie. Just make sure that you use a fabric that like cotton, that does not easily slip out of your hair. My daughters always seem to lose theirs, so the day I discovered I could make my own, I was indeed super excited. Are you ready to make yours?

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Before you can start working with the fabric make sure that you iron it. Follow the pattern directions as far as measuring, cutting and folding your fabric is concerned. In order to sew, you are going to need to use both pins and safety pins. Your elastic is the last thing to go into the fabric, then you can sew everything together and your scrunchie is ready for use.
