DIY Well Fitted Face Mask

Alright, since we are all still battling this ‘invisible enemy’ I saw it fit to follow up my post on the diy no sew face mask, with this diy well fitted fabric face mask. I know some of us out there would rather not be bothered with having to fold your mask for use everyday and prefer something more durable and permanant. Well, this post is for you.

Again, I sifted through a few diy fabric face mask patterns on the internet, before I chose this one. What I loved about this one, was that unlike the other patterns out there is that the pattern can be adjusted to fit the individual’s face. Although it does not have a filter sleeve, there is an inside lining for a more comfortable fit. You can also download the pattern in two sizes, one for adults and the other is child version.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

First things first, download the pattern for the face mask. Each side has 2 pieces, one is the front of the mask and the other is the lining. You need both of them in order to sew your mask. It is recommended that you first check to see if the mask covers your mouth and nose snugly before continuing to sew all the pieces together. Also pre-wash your fabric before sewing your mask, that way it won’t shrink after the first wash.
