As you might imagine, the ole school method was way simpler, as there wasn’t much cutting and sewing required.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

You’ll need to measure out your fabric and cut the required pieces using the pattern provided. Next, cut the arm holes and then begin sewing your pieces together. With most of the dress sewn together, you can start stitching the band into place.

Use the double fold bias tape to complete the arm holes. Finish off by making the casing at the top, feeding your ribbon through, trimming it and securing it in place with a stitch in the back.
