Laundry is one of those chores that has to be done almost weekly in most households. I have already shared how to make homemade laundry detergent, homemade wool dryer balls as well as homemade fabric softener, in earlier posts. Although we presently do not use an electronic dryer, I thought someone out there may find these homemade dryer sheets useful.
There are a few different options when it comes to homemade dryer sheets. These particular ones are not only easy to make but are also reusable. Plus you can make them using old rags or t-shirts, that alone could save you a few extra dollars. You also get to choose which essential oil to add as a scent for your sheets. Just stay true to your senses on this one! LOL
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- lint free cotton towels
- white vinegar
- essential oils
- tight sealing jar
- scissors (optional)
Your sheets should be a reasonable size, most importantly they should be able to fit into the storage jar. Take a few minutes to cut the sheets to your desired size, before folding them and packing them neatly into the jar. The vinegar goes in next and should cover the sheets, before finally adding a few drops of your preferred essential oil. This is a very simple practical solution, I love it! 🙂
