Homemade Wool Dryer Balls

We do not really have a dryer, but I still felt I had to share this with you guys. Since I have already shared other great solutions with you such as these homemade dish tablets and homemade toilet cleaning bombs. Today let us look at how to make these homemade wool dryer balls.

Instead of using dryer sheets, you can throw these balls into your dryer. That way you can save on the cost of buying more sheets which often contain chemicals that maybe harmful. Apparently using these balls also reduces the time your dryer runs by as much as 25%. This is a great family project, make a few more than you need and give them away as gifts to your family and friends.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The best way to make your balls is to start by wrapping the yarn around the fingers, all of them except the thumb. Then you go on slide the loops from your palm and wrap more yarn around the center of the loops you want to create a bow tie like. There is a lot more folding, before you felt them and give them a quick run in the dryer.
