Christmas Tree Cheese Platter Recipe

Ho, ho, hooooo… Merry Christmas! LOL Although it’s been a very trying year we experienced a good snowfall today. At the very least, we know that we are going to have a white Christmas. This year I have already shared this diy Christmas Tree tiered platter stand, and in previous years I shared this downtown Abbey Christmas pudding recipe and this spiced Christmas jam recipe. Today I thought you might be interested in this awesome Christmas tree cheese board recipe.

This one is for the Christmas appetizer recipes section, of your recipe rolodex. Ideally you want to have two to three different cheese varieties, as well as at least two different types of grapes. Also this tree is not limited to just cheese and grapes. You can be as creative as you want with your platter and add olives, tomatoes, artichokes, peppers or even cured meats. The bottom line, is simply to use whatever you have available.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Make sure that you thoroughly wash your grapes and then dry them before use. Then take some time to cut your cheese into cubes and set them aside ready for placement on the platter. The cheese cubes and grapes are placed in alternating rows on the platter in the shape of a Christmas tree. I tend to always start with the cheese at the top and find it easier to work my way down. However, feel free to start from the bottom and work your way up.
