Stop walking around the place like one of the three blind mice, simply because your eyeglass lenses are dirty. When it comes to cleaning your home, I have shared these diy reusable cleaning wipes, these homemade toilet cleaning bombs and this homemade grease cleaner spray in previous posts. Today we will be looking at how to make your own homemade eye glass cleaner.
When it comes to diy cleaning solutions, I prefer mine to be be easy to make and use. Why buy eye glass cleaner when you can make your own with 3 simple ingredients you already have lying around your house? Besides making your own at home, helps you to eliminate all of the harsh chemicals that are mixed into these solutions. Thus leaving you with an all natural solution that still effectively does the job. Most times you’ll find that the homemade version cleans better than the store bought one too.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 drops dish washing liquid
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons rubbing alcohol
- fine mist spray bottle
- microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloth
- small funnel (optional)
Step By Step Ingredients
Step 1.
Add the water and rubbing alcohol to your spray bottle.
Step 2.
Add the drops of dish washing liquid to the mixture in the the spray bottle.
Step 3.
Screw on the cap and give the bottle a good shake, to mix all the ingredients.
How To Use? Spray one or two wisps of your cleaning solution onto the lens and use the cleaning cloth to wipe away any dirt. Then wipe away any residue, and you should be left with a clean lens. Feel free to repeat the whole process, if necessary. For best results, it is recommended that you only use micro fiber cleaning cloths for your eyeglasses.
