This always tends to happen, all the time. After you have mastered how to homemade butter in 5 minutes or how to make butter from powdered milk, you want to move on to the next best ‘butter’ thing. Well look no further I have got your back. How about this homemade flavored butter recipe?
There are a few different ways to make your homemade butter, however if you are lazy you can also used store bought butter for this recipe. I don’t see the point though, you might as well just buy flavored butter. My favorite flavor is the garlic, it goes well when spread on garlic bread. The smoked salmon is pretty good too, I spread that on bread when making sandwiches.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- heavy cream or whipping cream
- smoked salmon
- parsley
- garlic
- sun-dried tomato & basil
- seeded mustard
- salt (optional)
- food processor
- electric hand mixer or stand mixer
- plastic bottle or mason jar
- plastic wrap
- mixing bowls or plates
The first order of business is to make your butter. The process is as easy as mixing your cream at high speed in the food processor for about 4 minutes. Voila you have your butter. You could also just use a jar to make your butter by giving the cream a good shake for about 5 minutes.
The ingredients above allow you to make four different flavors. You can choose your favorite or divide the butter to make all the different flavors. When done, you can store your butter in the freezer for up to 30 days. Just make sure that you have wrapped it up in plastic wrap! 🙂
