There are some products I used to buy on a regular basis that I have slowly been replacing over the years with homemade versions. Take for example, the homemade baking soda free deodorant, homemad all natural mouthwash and also the homemade shampoo. As of three weeks ago, I have started making my own homemade face moisturizer also.
This easy 3 step recipe requires only 5 all natural ingredients. However, it is choke full of healthy benefits such as antioxidants, cell regeneration, Vitamin E, anti-aging as well as acne fighting properties. Not only does the cream moisturize, it also soothes, softens and reduces redness in your skin. If you have been buying your moisturizer, I highly recommend you try this one instead.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- coconut oil
- almond oil
- cocoa butter
- frankincense essential oil
- lavender essential oil
- small mason jar
- mixing bowl
- spatula or wooden spoon
- stand mixer (optional)
If you have a stand mixer, you can use that otherwise add all your ingredients into a large bowl. Then go to work, mixing everything well until you have a uniform well mixed cream. I usually do it for at least 5 minutes or so just to make sure. Store your moisturizer in a jar, in a cool dry place.
How To Use: Wash your face and the apply the moisturizer evenly at least once daily.
