Whew! During these hot summer days, there is usually only three things on my mind. If it’s not a nice cool dip in the lake, then it’s either homemade ice cream or these homemade cherry ice pops. Every other week, I also throw in these homemade fudge pops or this homemade frozen yogurt into the mix. Hey, why not? Summer, like life is short! LOL
The best thing about these healthy ice pops is that you can opt to use natural sugars such as honey agave or maple syrup, instead of the sugar. Although you can buy frozen cherries from the grocery store, we always have some in our freezer from our tree in the backyard. This makes these super cheap to make, we absolutely have no excuse not to make them.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups frozen cherries
- 1 or 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 cup water
- ice pop molds
- blender
Step By Step Instructions:
Step 1.
Measure out all the ingredients into your blender.
Step 2.
Run the blender on high until all the ingredients are mixed well.
Step 3.
Pour the mixture into the ice pop molds.
Step 4.
Place the molds in your freezer for at least 4 hours.
Step 5.
Enjoy! 🙂
I usually prefer to make these at night, just before bed and then leave them in the freezer to set overnight. They will be ready for the girls (and me of course) to enjoy the next day. Yummy! 🙂
