It is always nice having spotless and clean surfaces in my kitchen. We don’t realize this but using paper towels or even just the wet wipes can turn out to be costly at the end of the month. Just like with the homemade dryer sheets I shared a few weeks back, I have now started making my own diy reusable cleaning wipes instead.
It is good to know that there are many more homemade all natural cleaning options available for me out there. Not only is this solution green, you will also be able to disinfect your surfaces whilst cleaning them. Throw in few drops of the essential oils and you have your favorite scent added to your homemade wet wipes too. What more could you ask for?

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- hot water
- rubbing alcohol
- borax
- baking soda
- essential oils (optional)
- tupperware container
- medium bowl
- microfiber cloths
- dish soap
- utility knife
Okay now that you have everything needed to make your wipes, you can start by folding the wipes so that they can easily be dispensed from the container. Speaking of the container, you are going to need to cut a whole in the middle of the lid. This is how you will be able to pull out your reusable wipes from the container.
With the wipes folded and the container prepped, you can move on to mixing the ‘disinfectant’ in the bowl. Its basically adding all the ingredients and giving them a real good mix. The wipes are laid place into the container, before you carefully pour the liquid over them and secure the lid in place. Your wipes are ready to go! 🙂
