DIY No Sew Placemats

It’s dinner time, please bring out the placemats! Which ones? Ummm, how about these diy no sew placemats. Well, I love this design it’s not only simple it is super effective. In previous blog posts, we have already covered these diy fabric jar opener, and these diy no sew face masks and diy no sew plastic dish scrubbies.

It is always fun trying these diy no sew projects, which involve dealing with fabric but without the need for a sewing machine. When it comes to these placemats, I personally prefer using burlap over cotton fabric. As far as the size is concerned, you can pretty much decide what size you want them to be, using the size of your table as your guide. Also no sew hemming tape can be used instead of the glue sticks. Also the design of the ribbon you choose, is entirely up to you.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

You can either use the recommended measurements for the burlap or choose your own. After measuring it out, use the scissors to cut out the required material. With the hot glue machine warmed up, the process of gluing the lace ribbon onto the placemat can then begin. Just be careful not to get the glue all over the place, take your time and do it slowly. That’s all there is to making these placemats, repeat as many needed. Yaaay! 🙂
