Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe

With the warmer temperatures, everyone’s favorite season is slowly approaching. Yes, I am talking about our much beloved Summer. We already have the easy asian cucumber salad recipe, shrimp and avocado salad recipe and even the balela salad recipe for our BBQs and picnics. I thought maybe today I could share this creamy and tangy tuna pasta salad recipe, with you.

There is no shortage of pasta salad recipes, however this one is my favorite as it has tuna added to it. The recipe calls for frozen peas, but you can use fresh ones too if you have them available. As for the type of pasta to use, any of the smaller ones e.g. bowties, penne, shells, elbows will do. If you are of those people who like their salad super creamy, simply add more mayonnaise, that will surely do the trick.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Your pasta has to be cooked and that is I usually get started. Whilst it’s cooking I wash and prep the other ingredients. As the pasta cools down, I then add the peas, tuna, onion and eggs into a large bowl, mix everything well together before adding the pasta. The other ingredients are mixed separating to make the dressing, which is then poured over the pasta. Before serving cover your salad with plastic wrap and allow to chill in the fridge for at least half an hour. Enjoy! 🙂
