It doesn’t have to be a party for you to make these tasty ‘sliders’. I know many of you enjoyed other appetizers that have been shared on this blog like the stuffed mini peppers recipe, chili lime baked shrimp cups recipe and the bell pepper nacho boats recipes. Let me expand that list today, with the addition of this party roast beef sandwiches recipe.
As with most appetizers recipes, you don’t want them to be too complicated or take too long to prepare either. However, at the same time, they must tantalize the taste buds. These sandwiches check all three boxes. Although you can use deli roast beef, why not replace that with some real home cooked roast beef whenever possible. The dinner rolls, horseradish sauce and the Worcestershire sauce could also be homemade.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- dinner rolls
- deli roast beef
- creamy horseradish sauce
- white American cheese
- butter
- brown sugar
- Worcestershire sauce
- poppy seeds
- small sauce pan
- baking pan
- non stick cooking spray
In order to make these you have to split your dinner rolls in half before you can start piling on the different layers. The rich creamy sauce is made separately in the sauce pan and then poured over the rolls, just before popping them into the oven. I lay down some parchment paper to prevent them from sticking to the pan, but non stick spray should do as well. When the tops are brown and crispy you know they are ready. This usually takes about half an hour or so.
