Quick question for you? What is the common word used to describe dehydrated grapes? If you guessed ‘raisins’ they you are correct. Just like when I showed you how to dehydrate blueberries and dehydrate fresh cherries, the whole process is pretty simple.
Out of all the different grape varieties is there one that is easier to dehydrate than the other? There probably is, but I just haven’t been lucky enough to try dehydrating all of them. What I know for sure is if you cut them in half, they will take far less time to dehydrate than if you try dehydrating them whole. That being said, let us dehydrate these babies now, shall we?
Here’s What They’ll Need:
- grapes
- sharp knife
- cutting board
- food dehydrator
- mason jars or air tight containers
As always when dealing with fresh produce, it is important that you give it a good wash. If you are going to cut the grapes in half, then go ahead and do that. Then all you have to do is lay them on the tray and follow the instructions in your food dehydrator’s manual. I usually like to start the whole process in the morning and then allow it to run overnight to the next day.
