Today please allow me to share this homemade Krispy Kremes recipe, with you.
We are all conditioned to buy our favorite donuts from Krispy Kreme outlets and yet it is so easy to make your own at home. You probably already have the 11 ingredients right there in your pantry that are required to whip up a lip smacking delicious batch of donuts. So the next time you feel the urge, just pull out this recipe and get your hands sticky and dirty. LOL
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- milk
- boiling water
- dry active yeast
- all-purpose flour
- sugar
- egg
- butter
- salt
- oil
- confectioners’ sugar
- vanilla
- measuring jug
- large mixing bowl
- cloth or plastic wrap
- baking sheet or wire rack
- knife
- deep frying pan
- pastry blender (optional)
The first step of this recipe requires you to prepare your yeast mixture and then leave it in a warm place to activate. Meanwhile in a large bowl you can combine the dry ingredients and then cut in your butter to create a crumbly mixture. Beat your egg in a cup before adding it to the flour mixture.
The yeast mixture is also added to the dry ingredients mixture. Next the dough has to be needed for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then transferred back into the bowl and left to rise for an hour. The dough is cut into small strips, which are balled up and fried. The glazing is drizzled on last! 🙂
