Homemade Gravy Mix Recipe

Hey, pass me the gravy please! Oh my, it looks so thick and savory, where did you buy it? My response to that question, is one that always surprises most people. I’ve been using this homemade gravy mix recipe for a while now and I absolutely love it. In the past, we have made other mixes such as this homemade pot roast mix, this homemade fajita seasoning mix and this homemade onion soup mix.

The thing with most homemade mixes is that, unlike the store bought versions they do not use any preservatives. This alone makes them way healthier. It helps that this recipe only requires three ingredients, which are readily available in any pantry. Cornstarch or arrowroot flour can be used as a substitute for the flour. When stored in an airtight container, you can safely keep this mix for up to six months.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

It’s super easy to make this gravy mix in your kitchen. Simply grab your container and then measure out the ingredients into it as instructed by the recipe. When converting the mix into actual gravy, you’ll need to add a few more ingredients to ‘wet’ the gravy in the saucepan. Just like the gravy mix, it only takes a few minutes to make the gravy, which you can then pour over your beef. Enjoy! 🙂
