What is it about chocolate that makes us all feel ‘happy’ inside? Take me for example, I love anything with chocolate. From the caramel filled chocolates recipe, to the chocolate chic cookie cake recipe and even the chocolate peanut butter cookies recipe. The list goes on and we are just about to make it even longer by adding this easy chocolate pie recipe to it.
Honestly, it is virtually impossible to have enough chocolate recipes. The easy ones, like this one are the best. It doesn’t matter if you use a store bought crust or you make your own at home, just make sure it is baked. This ultimately means that you won’t have to place the pie itself in the oven to bake. As for the pudding, you can opt for either cook and serve pudding or instant pudding. Whatever works best for you.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- baked pie crust
- stabilized whipped cream
- chocolate pudding mix
- cold milk
It doesn’t matter which pudding you are using, it is the first thing that you prepare when making this pie. Once the pudding is ready, you can then fold in the whipped cream and mix everything well. The mixture is then spooned into the baked pie crust, and usually I just let mine sit in my freezer overnight, although the recipe says for ‘at least’ 3 hours. Yummy! 🙂
