Hey, forgive me but all this cold weather has me trying to figure out ways to warm. I have already shared the diy easy fingerless glove and the diy slouchy slipper socks in previous posts on this blog. Today, why don’t we try making this diy rice neck wrap? It is actually not a complicated project at all.
I don’t know if you have ever used neck wraps for relaxation or pain relief? If you have never done so, here’s your chance to try them. In order to make yours, you only really need two things. You can put your own touch, when you select your fabric or choose whether to use essential oils or not. A sewing machine would make everything faster and easier, however don’t stress if you don’t have one you can just use a needle and thread to sew yours.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- flannel fabric
- uncooked rice
- sewing machine
- scissors
- tape measure
- essential oils (optional)
I am sure when you saw fabric in the list above, you immediately knew that they is going to be some measuring, cutting and of course sewing. The ‘case’ for the neck wrap is sewn inside out and then filled the right side up when it is time to fill it up with the rice. I haven’t experimented with the essential oils yet, but feel free to do so if you wish.
