Every young child deserves one of these. I remember as a young girl, I had one I cleverly named Teddy. I could not fall asleep without Teddy in my arms. I know of late, I have been featuring some fun projects like the diy tshirt tote bag and the diy squishy stress balls. Today’s feature is this diy wash towel teddy bear, a reader shared with me. Thanks Tammy!
It’s another one of those super simple fun projects, no cutting or sewing. If you can fold and roll a towel, you can easily make one of these. As for materials, only 3 readily available things are required for this project. This will definitely make a great family project too, so set aside one afternoon or evening where you can all get ‘towel teddy bear-ring‘.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- towels or wash cloths
- rubber bands
- ribbons
Lay out your wash towel on the table and then fold it 3/4 of the way. The start rolling from one end into the center. Flip the towel over, and repeat the process from the other end to the center. To make the body twist the bottom half, and fold the upper section 3/4 of the of the way. Use the rubber band to make the face.
For the ears, pull out sections of the towel from the upper section. The rubber bands will be used to secure the ears in place, make any required adjustments. For the finishing touch, simply tie the ribbon around the neck into a nice big bow. And….You’re done.
