DIY PVC Vertical Salad Tower

It is the greens in your life that pack the most useful nutrients. Therefore it is very important that you grow and eat them as much as possible. There is already a post that shows you how to build a diy hanging gutter garden and another how to build a diy lettuce globes. You can add this diy pvc vertical salad tower to your bag of ‘salad growing’ apparatuses.

I had to go through quite a few vertical tower garden designs, before finally settling on this one. I loved this particular one because although drilling the holes is a bit tedious, it only requires 2 PVC pipes to set it up. You have the freedom of growing all your favorite lettuce varieties in one location. Also because it is vertical, you do not require too much space to erect your tower. Talk about saving both your money and space, cool huh?

Here’s What You’ll Need:

First order of business is to drill the holes around the main PVC pipe. The provided instructions will direct you on how exactly to go about doing that. Then depending on weather you are installing this in your garden or patio, you are going to have to prepare either the area or the bucket that it will stand in. Now all you have left to do is to drill holes into the other PVC pipe, set it up inside the other one and start planting your seedlings.
