DIY Hot Pepper Garden Spray

I like that with 5 simple ingredients and spices we can formulate an all natural pesticide that is capable of repelling everything from aphids, beetles, leafhoppers, spittlebugs deer, gophers, groundhogs and raccoons. For the dish washing liquid, make sure you use an all natural one.

DIY Hot Pepper Garden Spray

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper

  • 3 teaspoons garlic pepper
  • 3 teaspoons all natural dishwashing liquid
  • 2 tablespoons mineral oil
  • measuring jug
  • spray bottle

Step By Step Instructions

Step 1.

Measure your water and keep it in the jug.

Step 2.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the water.

Step 3.

Carefully pour the contents of the jug into the spray bottle.

Step 4.

Screw the top back on and give the bottle a good shake

Do not go outside and use the spray in your garden immediately. It is recommended that you let it sit overnight on your kitchen counter in order to allow all the ingredients to saturate the solution. Give the bottle another good shake, just before spraying on the plants in your garden.
