DIY Mosquito Repellent Candles

It always happens, you are just trying to enjoy a night or sunset on the patio and all of a sudden you hear that annoying buzzing sound. We have already looked at how to make all natural mosquito repellent and diy mason jar citronella candles. Today I will share with you yet another solution, that is these diy mosquito repellent candles.

When it comes to diy mosquito repellents, I am willing try anything out there. This one is very simple to set up and also repels bugs in addition to the pesky mosquitoes. You will be using fruits, herbs and essential oils to make your candles. All natural ingredients, 80% of which you can find in your garden. I haven’t try it, but perhaps you could use real lemongrass instead.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Give your lemons and limes a good wash before you begin. For quantity purposes keep in mind the 1:2 ratio, that is for each lemon and lime, you can make two candles. With your lemons ready, you can start the assembly line for the candles. Of course the candle goes in last right at the top. On a really windy night or day, you should probably keep a lighter close by to light your candles. LOL
