DIY Wood Pallet Planter

Although, lately I haven’t been making as much noise about wood pallets, as before. I still enjoy using them to build random things around the homestead. Just like the time when we built the diy wood pallet outdoor table, diy wood pallet dining set and diy wood pallet desk. A few weeks back, I ran into this diy wood pallet planter on Pinterest. You know me, I just had to try build one. LOL

When it comes to diy wood pallet projects, the ones that don’t require the pallet to be dismantled are my favorite. This particular project, only requires a few boards to be removed. However, it’s still way better than having to dismantle the whole pallet. You can use this type of planter for growing herbs, dwarf fruit trees as well as all your other regular vegetables. Ideally, you should set aside about an hour of your time to finish building, filling and planting your new planter.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The first step involves dividing your pallet into 3 equal pieces. I used a tape measure to measure the pallet and then divided it into 3 pieces. It’s easier to cut, if you mark the pallet on both sides. All the extra planks have to be removed, before you can start the assembly process. Once you have assembled the planter as per the instructions, you can then use the handheld drill to screw the three sections in place.
