It has been raining daily around these parts for the last couple of days. Rain is good, but it also limits the amount of outside work we can do on some days. Days like this are perfect for those indoor diy projects such as the diy honeycomb shelves and the diy suncatcherst. The other day, we took on this diy marble coasters project.
When you hear the word ‘marble‘ you immediately think of something expensive right? Well, you will be surprised to know that not only is this project simple, it is also very affordable. As with most of my projects, I did find 3 tiles lying around in the shed. Instead of going to buy new ones, I used those instead. Anyhow, even if you had to purchase them, they are not expensive at all.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- marble contact paper
- hexagon tiles
- scissors or craft Knife
- pencil
- adhesive felt pads (optional)
I know you are still a little apprehensive, but trust me when I tell you that this project is not complicated at all. Take care when creating your templates and that will make the tracing as well as the cutting process easier. The adhesive felt pads are normally the last to be stuck on the bottom, however we left these out on ours. 🙂
