Goats are generally very playful animals, they just like to have a jolly good time. This is why we have set up things like the diy goat scratching post and the diy yoga ball goat toy to keep ours entertained. The other day I saw this diy goat play hive, that I think our goat love.
There are other diy goat playground ideas, that are pretty easy to set up, unfortunately this is not one of them. However, I like the fact that you can reuse craps to build this structure, in fact it is encouraged that you do. Your location will determine, how easy it is for you to get ahold of the scrap wood you need. The goats can use this both as a shelter or a ‘jungle gym’ of sorts.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- scrap 2x4s
- wood nails
- hammer
- hand held drill
- string
- miter saw
- tape measure
- marker
You know the foundation of any building structure is the most important part, right? It is important that you measure out the diameter of your structure before, you start. The bottom layer is reinforced with nails that are hammered into the ground. The rest of the structure, you just use the provided template as a guide.
