Homemade Vitamin C Gummies

We all know we should take our vitamins every single day, but some of us miss some days. Besides not having time or we just do not like the taste of the capsules. After having already shared how to make homemade vitamin c capsules, today I thought I should also show you how to make homemade vitamic C gummies.

These are super easy to make and only require 3 ingredients. It is always funny to me how easy it is to actually make your own homemade versions, and usually way cheaper too. I absolutely love that this recipe has no added sugar and that you could also use orange juice with a little honey or maple syrup instead of the grape juice.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Fire up your stove and place the sauce pan with about half of the juice in it. Which ever juice you decide to use leave it until just before it starts boiling. Then you can add the gelatin, before adding the rest of the juice. For the gelatin, you can use the beef gelatin or the Knox gelatin which I used, as it is all I had.

Make sure that you give the mixture a good stir each time you add a new ingredient. The vitamin C goes in last before you pour it into the molds. Be careful not to spill any, I had to learn the hard way. The molds are placed in the fridge to set and then you can remove the gummies and store in a container in your fridge. My little girls really love these, and I am really happy that they do. 🙂
