Homemade Sandwich Bread Recipe

Yesterday afternoon, I huddled up in my modest kitchen trying to decide which bread to make. I considered making the homemade rye bread, then thought perhaps the homemade french bread. Eventually, I settled for this homemade sandwich bread recipe.

It is funny though, how many different bread recipes they are out there. I have never been a fan of those that require the use of the bread maker. Although, I understand they make the whole process way easier. So for this particular one, you will need 6 common ingredients and your loaf pan. I like to get my hands dirty, kneading the dough is actually therapeautic for me. LOL

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The secret to a perfect loaf of bread lies in the blooming mixture which is the hot water, sugar and yeast. This is the first thing that you should make and allow it to sit long enough to bloom. If you have a stand mixer with a dough hook, your life is made much easier.

It simply means that you will be saved from the ominous task of kneading the bread, which is needed if you use the hand mixer. When your dough is ready, patience is now needed. You have to leave the dough to rise to at least double it size, not one but two times. That requires at least 2 and half hours. Only then, will you be able to bake your bread in the oven.
