Homemade No Knead Bread Mix

Just to keep things interesting I try to make different types of bread for my family. I usually make the homemade rye bread, sometimes the homemade french bread recipe and every so often the fresh blueberry loaf. Another one that is fast becoming a favorite is made using this homemade no knead bread mix.

One of the main reasons why most people try avoid making bread is the ‘kneading’ process. This mix allows you not only to pre-make your bread mix, but also eliminates the dreaded process. I love that I can just make a batch of this mix, store it in jars and use it whenever I need to make bread fast. This simple recipe only calls for five ingredients, readily available in most kitchens.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • flour
  • salt
  • yeast
  • mason jar
  • canning funnel
  • bowl
  • whisk
  • ribbon
  • twine
  • warm water
  • apple cider vinegar
  • kitchen towel
  • parchment paper
  • baking stone

The flour, yeast and salt are whisked well in the bowl. Then all that is left is to scoop everything using the funnel into your jars. Screw on the lids and decorate as you see fit. Store in a cool dry place until use. This mix makes a great gift too.

How To Make The Bread? It’s very simple, just add warm water plus raw apple cider vinegar and mix well. Take the kitchen towel and cover your bowl, allowing your dough to rise for at last an hour and a half. Your oven should be preheated with the baking stone to 450 degrees F.

Punch down the dough and mold into a round loaf. Place on the the parchment paper and let rest for about 40 minutes. The top must be dusted with flour and slashed with a knife 3 times before placing in the oven and baking for up to 30 minutes. Allow your loaf to cool, before enjoying it! 🙂
