It is time for yet another wood pallet project. Having already built the diy wood pallet bar, it only makes sense that we try find some chairs or stools to go with it. I did not want to make the simple stools, that is why I have opted for these diy wood pallet high bar stools instead.
As with most wood pallet projects, we are going to have to disassemble the pallets before we can actually start building the project. Nevertheless, the good thing is that we are still re-purposing wood that would otherwise have been neglected or thrown away. It also helps that in most places you can get the pallets for free.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 wood pallets
- sawzall
- wood screws
- handheld drill
- miter saw
- pry bar
- tape measure
- marker
As already stated above, the first task at hand is breaking apart the wood pallet, most of us just use a pry bar for this job. When we have the separate pieces of wood, we can then start marking and cutting the pieces that we need to make the stool. They always recommend that you measure twice, and cut once.
With all your cuts ready, you can start to assemble your chairs. Just use wood screws and a hand held drill. Start with the seat, then add the legs and end with the back. The total cost of each chair should only be about $20 and will take about 6 to 8 hours to complete.
