Hey, even after a long day sweating out in the garden a girl needs to smell good too, you know? I have been relying on homemade recipes such as the homemade anti aging eye cream and homemade face wash recipe. So instead of wasting my limited budget, I decided to investigate how to make your own perfume at home.
I was surprised by how easy it was to make the perfume blends, by simply combining essential oils. There are 3 different classes of these oils when it comes to making perfume. You can pretty much select the ones you like from each group to end up with your own unique blend. Just make sure that you jot down the recipe, otherwise you may never replicate your favorite perfume again. LOL

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- almond oil or Jojoba
- cheap vodka
- distilled water
- essential oils
- perfume bottle
- roll-on tubes
- coffee filters
The best way to go about it is to mix everything in the bottle. You start with the base oil which is either your almond or jojoba oil. Then you have to add oils starting with the base oils, followed by the middle notes and then lastly the top notes. The full list of the various essential oils can be found at the link below.
Just before you shut the bottle and give it a good shake, add in the vodka. It is important that you shake the bottle for at least 2 minutes. Store away in a cool dry place for up to 5 days. All that is left is to add the water, shake and then filter with the coffee filter. You have just made your own homemade perfume. 🙂
