How To Build A Mini Pig Pen Using Wood Pallets

Don’t let them roam freely around the homestead, seriously it may not end well. LOL. Pigs will always be pigs, no matter their size. In earlier posts we have looked at how to build this diy PVC pig waterer, how to build this pig tire & barrel feeder and how to build this simple pig pen. Today’s post is all about how to build a mini pig pen using wood pallets.

Over the last couple of years, I have slowed down a little on diy wood pallet projects. Although, these are the best projects to take on when your funds are low. Especially, the ones that do not require you to dismantle the pallets. No power tools are needed for this particular one, however they can help save you some time by making some of the tasks easier. Speaking of time, you should have this pen constructed and ready in just one hour.

I figured the best way to go about setting up your pen is by first marking out the perimeter. You can use the tape measure and measure everything out, or just wing it. I prefer the later. The actual construction process involves standing the pallets in place and then screwing them together. Once you have erected the enclosure, you can then add the door as well as the rest of the accessories i.e. the latch and the hinges etc.
