DIY Ladder Chair

OMG! Is it a chair or wait is it a ladder? What if I told you it was both and that it is very handy to have especially in your kitchen or pantry. I don’t know if you remember the diy pantry shelf project, the diy outdoor movie screen project and this diy upcycled lamp side table project? We had a lotta fun with those, just like we are going to have with this diy ladder chair project.

I always try to feature easy diy projects on this blog. However sometimes, I run into a ‘hard’ project that you must know about. This is one of those projects, it just had to be shared. There are quite a few cuts that have to be precisely measured and made. In addition to that, you are going to find a lot of power tools on the required tools list. But don’t fret, if you take your sweet time, I think most of us who have played with power tools before, can pull this one off.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The project starts with the front section, where you have to cut the front legs, front rails and the front slanted legs. After you are done construction the front, which includes attaching the front step and seat, you can then move on to the back section. The middle step is also attached when dealing with the back section. Once everything is in place, all pocket holes must be filled in, the chair is also sanded down before finishing it with either paint or a wood stain.
