Spicy Korean Chicken Recipe

Sometimes you may have a craving for some nice Korean food, but you’re too lazy to go to out to your favorite Korean restaurant. Well, this spicy Korean chicken recipe, will have your taste buds doing the tango! It’s definitely a better option to the spicy Thai noodles recipe or the spicy pineapple pork recipe.

I have to admit though that personally, I do not have many Korean recipes at my disposal. However, I am happy that this particular one is one of the ones that I have. It’s good that the chicken is not too spicy, even though you use gochujang also known as Korean chili paste. As far as cooking time is concerned, your chicken should be ready in less than 20 minutes.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

We’ll start by prepping the chicken, you just want to slice the thighs into smaller pieces. Next, we want to make the marinade in a bowl. Simply mix all the marinade ingredients well using a whisk. I usually let it sit for at least 2 hours but if you in a rush, 30 minutes will work.

When it comes to cooking your chicken, you have a few options. I prefer to pan fry mine in a skillet but alternatively you can grill on the BBQ outside or bake it in the oven. This dish is best served with a nice hot bowl of steamed rice and some boiled or steamed vegetables.
