Raspberry Peach Freezer Jam Recipe

Yeah, we are going to be jamming today! Ummm, not that kinda of ‘jamming’ though, the other delicious kind. LOL After making this homemade freezer jam and this homemade freezer jam, I think I am ready for this raspberry peach freezer jam recipe too.

Although this one does have pectin, most of the other freezer jams I have made do not have it as one of the ingredients. Hey, if you are really against using it you could probably exclude it and use the other ingredients only. You will need about an hour to make your jam, and that includes all the prep work too. But trust me, it is an hour well spent in your kitchen.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Wash and dry your fruit before you start making your jam. Depending on how smooth you want it, you can either use a potato masher or a blender to crush your fruit. If you don’t have any of those a good ole wooden spoon should work just fine. That is the hard part of this recipe, now you are ready to start mixing in the rest of the ingredients.

Put your fruit in the large pot, then start by sifting in the pectin. There is a compulsory wait time of about half an hour, while you wait for the pectin to do its thing. After that you can go on to add the corn syrup then the sugar. When the jam is done you can transfer it into jars and store it in your freezer for up to a year.
