It’s getting close to that time of the year when there are a lot of pumpkins available for cooking. I thought instead of making something as traditional such as this homemade pumpkin bread recipe, why not try something different today? That is when I remembered I had saved this mini pumpkin pie pops recipe online a few weeks back.
I have no doubt, that you are in love with your favorite pumpkin pie recipe. However, this recipe is so simple and I can assure you that both adults and kids are going to enjoy them. The ingredients list does not have anything out of the ordinary or super expensive. I recommend that you make your own homemade pumpkin puree, instead of using the tinned one. The same goes for the pie crusts.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- deep dish frozen pie crusts
- pumpkin puree
- brown sugar
- maple syrup
- pumpkin pie spice
- egg
- lollipop sticks (optional)
- icing sugar
- vanilla extract
- rolling pin
- pumpkin cookie cutter
- small bowl
- parchment paper
- silicone baking mat
- ziploc bag
- scissors
So you start by making the mini pies, if you are using frozen pie crusts make sure you defrosted that way ahead of time. Then you want to roll out the crust and cut it using the cutter. Next you make the puree separately, before moving on to setting up the pops. Make sure that each one has some puree before sealing. You make the glaze whilst everything is in the oven, glaze your pops after they leave the oven golden brown in color. Enjoy
