This handy solution is for anyone who takes a bath or shower, which I guess is everyone in this case. LOL. I am no stranger to homemade versions of products we use daily around the house from the homemade face moisturizer to the homemade bubble bath and even this homemade shampoo. Next, on the list is this homemade body wash recipe.
You would be happy to know that it requires 3 all natural ingredients, that you probably have lying around in your home right now. Like most homemade versions, the actual process of making it, is as simple as combining the ingredients. Although it is produced in your kitchen, you can expect it to be just as soothing, bubbly, cleansing and moisturizing as the manufactured versions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- castile soap
- honey, preferably raw
- olive, jojoba, refined avocado, or almond oil
- 30-60 drops essential oil (optional)
- mixing bowl
- spoon
- empty squeeze bottle or container
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1.
Measure out equal amounts of the honey, olive oil
as well as the castile soap.
Step 2.
Mix all the ingredients well in the mixing bowl.
Step 3.
Pour into your empty squeeze bottle or container.
The essential oil is optional, and you can choose whichever one you like. You already know I am a lavender kinda girl, but vanilla, citron, jasmine, rose and sweet orange are great options too. Make sure you give it a good shake before use. This body wash can last for up to a year, which is plenty of time to use it.
