Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad

After enduring those often unbearable winter months, you are always looking for anything to give yo home that Summer is knocking on the door. A long while I showed you how to make homemade greek yogurt, which is delicious and healthy. Today I would like to go a step further and share with you this greek yogurt chicken salad.

The greek yogurt in this recipe, replaces the one most common ingredient in most chicken salads, the mayonaise. As a result you end up with a super healthy salad, which is loaded with protien but still low in fat. You’ll love this creamy, crunchy, sweet, fresh and juicy chicken salad recipe. The recipe is ready in about 20 minutes, most of it is spent with preparation and makes about 6 cups.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Sit that large bowl on the kitchen counter. Add the grapes,chicken,almonds, green onions as well as the celery. In a smaller bowl you can mix the salt, pepper, milk, yogurt and honey. Then all that is left to do is to combine the two mixtur. Season with salt and pepper as desired. If pressed on time, it is recommended that you allow the salad to sit in your fridge for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight. Serve with some fresh dill sprinkled on the top. Any leftovers can be stored in your fridge for up to 4 days.
