Fresh Mango Salsa Recipe

If it is not the juiciest and tastiest fruit on earth, then tell me what is? Thank you Aunt Mary for teaching me a few years back, how to freeze and can fresh mangoes. Now I can preserve them longer and enjoy them fresh for months. Allow me to share with you, one of my favorite mango recipes, this fresh mango salsa recipe.

OMG! The combination of colors in this salsa, make it irresistible. This is even before you taste it. Preparation time is only about 15 minutes, and most of it is spent chopping the different fresh vegetables. You get a burst of both sweet and spicy flavors the salsa hits your taste buds. The simplest way to enjoy it is as salad. It also goes well with your tacos or chips too.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Add your diced mango, chopped onion, red pepper, cilantro and your minced jalapeno to the serving bowl. Mix all these fresh ingredients well, before drizzling the juice from the lime over them. Toss everything again and season with salt. It is recommend you let the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes before serving. I usually give it a good half an hour or so. Enjoy fresh or store covered in your fridge.
