DIY Pot Lid Holder

It is not fun at all, how my lids just end being a whole heap of a mess. They take up more space than they should and that is extremely annoying. If only I could have a little more order in my lid section, I thought to myself. I mean I have already built this diy pull out under sink cabinet organizer and this diy pantry shelf. Well, it seems the good Lord has answered my prayers, I discovered this diy pot lid holder, on Pinterest the other day.

As with many other things, I like to keep my diy kitchen storage solutions as simple as possible. This project is not complicated at all, plus the holder can be easily customized to fit any size cabinet door. In terms of the cost of the required materials, 20 bucks should be enough to get everything you need. In fact, it is probably a wise idea to check on your scraps before you head out to the hardware store, you may end up saving yourself some money.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

As this project is built to cabinet specification it is important to measure the width of your doors before you get started. After that you can then move on to cutting out the spacers for your rack and then on to the main section of the rack. Test for lid clearance before assembling the rack. When the racks are fully assembled you can attach them to the cabinet doors using screws. I would test fit all my lids in their respective spots, to make sure that they fit before screwing on the holders.
