Every now and again the animals you keep on your homestead will fall sick. It helps if you are prepared to take care of them in such situations. For example, I showed you how to make diy electrolytes for baby chicks, homemade teat wash for goats and cows and how to get rid of chicken mites. Today, I have something for your goats, you can use these homemade goat electrolytes.

You may not know the full list of goat diseases, but having this treatment handy can be a life saver. Always try to prevent your goats from becoming dehydrated, especially when they are vomiting or scouring. Unlike the store bought version, this homemade one is made from all natural ingredients that are essential nutrients for your goats.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    (optional)
  • nutri-drench (optional)

This recipe is pretty simple. Measure out all your ingredients as directed and mix them well in a bucket or jug. The optional ingredients are for added nutritional value for your goats. Feel free to add these as available. I usually never leave out the apple cider vinegar. The goats usually just drink out of the bucket or jug, however sometimes when they are really sick, drenching is best.
