No more smelly and stinky dogs! Yep, as of today this should no longer be a problem in your home. Over here we always trying to take good care of our two dogs, at all times. Actually, on this blog we have already covered this diy natural tick repellent for dogs, this diy doggy breath mints and this diy toothpaste for dogs. However, in today’s post, I would like to share the recipe for my go to homemade dog deodorizer spray.
Having done adequate research on homemade deodorant spray for dogs, I settled on this one. This simple recipe requires 3 ingredients only. You have the freedom to use your favorite essential oils, either individually or as blends. Ideally you would want to make one spray for all your dogs, however sometimes just like with humans each dog may have it’s own preference. Over here, we tried a few blends but have since settled on lavender for both dogs.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup witch hazel
- 10 to 15 drops essential oils
- empty spray bottle
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1.
Add all the ingredients to the spray bottle.
Step 2.
Give the bottle a good shake.
Step 3.
Spray your dog(s) as needed.
IMPORTANT: Some dogs may react to a specific essential oil or essential oils as a whole. It is highly recommended that when you first spray your dog(s) you target a small test area. This will help determine whether your dog reacts to the essential oils or not. If they react, you may want to consider trying different essential oils or stop using this spray altogether.
