DIY Crochet Hanging Fruit Baskets

Honestly, I find these to be super cute, don’t you think? We’ve already built this diy wall mounted fruit & veggie holder and this diy fruit & veggie rack in earlier posts. That means we have plenty of storage options in our kitchen and pantry as it stands. However, that will not stop us from bringing out the crotchet hook and working on these diy hanging fruit baskets.

When all is said and done, I actually do enjoy these simple crocheting patterns. Although the title suggests that these are fruit baskets, there can be used for storing yarn, veggies or other things around the house. The pattern is very versatile when it comes to the number of baskets as well as their sizes too. Although white is usually the go to color, you can use different colored yarn or even mix and match from basket to basket.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Grab your crochet hook and start working on the hoops, starting with the smallest one. You can even go larger than the recommended 14″ one, just keep on adding two rows at a time. You’ll also need three Romanian cords, before you can begin the construction. Keep an eye on the spacing between your baskets as well as the consistency of the cords. Stitch markers can be used as visual aides too.
