DIY Hand Sanitizer Cosy

With hand sanitizer needed now more than ever, I have the perfect project for you today. You already know how to make your own homemade hand sanitizer gel and now I will show you how you can easily carry it around with you all day. All you need is this diy crochet hand sanitizer cozy. Why not make one or two of these for each member of your family.

If you have been looking for simple crotchet patterns to try out, here is one for you. There is 3 sections to making one of these, you start from the bottom working your way to the top. As for what type of yarn to use or what color, just use either whatever you have available or your any of your favorite colors. You’ll only need about 12 yards of yarn for each one and most small hand sanitizer bottles should be able to fit into this pouch.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

You begin with your stitch marker, making the first stitch and then work your way out in a spiral. The first section is the base, when that is done you can move on to the body. The body should look short, so that it stretches when the sanitizer is placed within. Last but definitely not least is the strap which should be about 12 inches long and woven into the top of the body, before being secured with a tight knot. That’s it your holder is ready! 🙂
