Give me one good reason why my girls can’t enjoy a day or two at the spa too? Right, that’s what I thought you have none. LOL When Summer comes some of the days are way too hot, like yesterday for example we were in the high 90s. I know the girls love the homemade chicken popss, so I have no doubt whatsoever that they will love this diy chicken spa treatment, I have planned for them.
It’s yet another super simple diy project that you can set up in less than 5 minutes. As far as materials that are needed, I am almost certain that we all have these in our kitchen, they are very basic things. Feel free to substitute, for something similar if you by any chance you do not have the exact thing. Re-purposing is always encouraged too.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- shallow aluminum foil pan
- ice water
- fresh herbs
As for the set up, pour your ice water into the pan about halfway to 3/4 full. Take some of your chickens favorite herbs and sprinkle them on top of the water. All that is left to do is to move the spa into the chicken coop. Let the party begin, they should start to stand in the water, drink the water and even nibble on the fresh herbs. They will surely have a lot of fun expecially on hot summer day! 🙂
