How To Freeze Grapes

Unless you are going to be making your own wine at home, you probably will not know what to do with all the leftover grapes. Trust me I had the same problem, and that made me head out and search for ways to preserve my grapes such as how to freeze grapes.

It is a very easy, non labor intensive process. Besides the grapes themselves there is really nothing else that is required, that is not already available in your kitchen. Frozen grapes are not only very healthy but delicious too.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • fresh grapes
  • baking sheet
  • wax paper
  • kitchen or paper towel
  • colander
  • ziploc bag

As always when dealing with fresh produce, it is important that you wash the grapes before you begin the freezing process. You can use the colander for this. After which you want to place the grapes on some towels and leave them to dry.

Prepare your baking sheet lining it with wax paper, before placing your grapes in a single layer on top of the wax paper. You only need to freeze the grapes for about an hour. Store in a ziplock bag in the freezer. They can be enjoyed straight out of the freezer like a popsicle or you can slightly thaw them.
