DIY Stacked Herb Garden

I really believe that we should all have a small fresh herb garden which gives you easy access to fresh herbs, to use in your daily cooking. Here is a cute diy stacked herb garden design I ran into today.

If you do a lot of flower or container gardening you probably have a lot of containers you can use for this project. Otherwise, you can just repurpose, some cans or metal buckets.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • fresh herb plants
  • flower pots or containers
  • chalkboard paint (optional)
  • potting mix
  • organic fertilizer
  • markers (optional)
  • chalk (optional)

Before you begin make sure that you have at least three containers of different sizes that you can stack on top of each other. Also make sure that each one has holes on the bottom to allow for drainage.

Lina made her plant markers herself using chalkboard paint and chalk. If you do not have these you can always use whatever you have, to make markers that identify your herbs so you know which is which.
